Initiative to enable London businesses to grow and prosper through collaboration with the London knowledgebase, which includes universities and colleges, research institutes and technology specialists. The orogramme will assist small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) undertake projects to develop business solutions encompassing a wide range of options.
 
The Programme provides a combination of identifying and matching business needs with specialists, funding support to enable SMEs to engage with professional advice and 1-2-1 mentoring to maximise the benefits of the project.  Where an academic/business relationship is already being developed, Knowledge Connect are able to offer funds within the programme criteria to finance collaborative work.
 
Assistance is available to qualifying businesses anywhere in the Greater London area and is focussed primarily on those employing between 4 and 50 staff and who have not previously worked with the local knowledgebase.  There are two levels of financial support available depending on the size of the project:
 
-         £3k Mini collaboration voucher targeted at initial testing, product or service development, or proof of concept
-         £10k Maxi collaboration voucher (which requires 50% match funding) focussed on the delivery of more substantial, collaborative projects
